AIRBNB | EXCURSION | FISH FRY
If you read the blog " Where to start" then you know that I look for Airbnbs before hotels for every occasion. I found that Airbnbs offer better views at a less expensive price. This particular Airbnb is located on an oceanfront in Sandyport, which is less than 15 minutes from the airport. The property is 3 floors high. The ground floor has a private bedroom and a mixed dorm room. The second floor has another a small private bedroom as well as the living room and kitchen which is shared between guests. The top floor has three private bedrooms.
This location was amazing because it's right across the street from a bank, ATM, and gym. It's also about a quarter mile away from a grocery store, liquor store, and a Chinese restaurant I recommend if you can't make it to the Fish Fry on your first night in town.
EXUMA POWERBOAT ADVENTURES
Exuma Powerboat Adventures offers a full day excursion from Nassau with complimentary pickup. Highlights of the adventure includes a powerboat cruise to Allens Cay and Ship Channel Cay, feeding sharks, stingrays, and endangered iguanas. You also receive a conch salad show, a guided snorkel of the reef, buffet lunch, and a fully stocked open bar.

Total: $235.43 per person
This sounds expensive, but it's cheaper than the other excursions I found and has way more to offer. The only thing this excursion does not have are the infamous Exuma Pigs.
FISH FRY
The Fish Fry, in my opinion is the best area in Nassau for food and to bar hop. There is a collection of 30 plus stalls, stands, and restaurants that make up the Fish Fry and Friday nights are the best time to go! For all of my fellow travelers, I recommend that you visit during the day as well because it is colorful and serves as the perfect place to capture the best pictures. Nonetheless, the food is amazing and going here is necessary if you are in Nassau.
